ASU Prep. Academy : Biology

Putting students on the path to success.

Over the course of a year, I had the opportunity to serve as the primary graphic designer on a diverse team of designers, animators, illustrators, researchers, and instructional designers. Together, we created an interactive digital learning experience for the High School Biology curriculum, an exciting endeavor spearheaded by ASU Preparatory Academy.

One major challenge was finding images that accurately represented the lessons and could be legally used. This involved searching for suitable stock photos and vectors and working closely with illustrators to create accurate custom illustrations. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I designed and assembled the graphics needed for the project.

I contributed to 50 of the 72 modules, focusing on crafting engaging, interactive, and easy-to-understand visuals that matched each lesson's style. Working closely with the Curriculum Designer, we tackled complex subjects to ensure clarity and accuracy for students. Our collaborative problem-solving approach not only enhanced the quality of the educational content but also built a lasting professional relationship.

The result was a series of visually rich, interactive lessons that make high school biology more engaging and accessible for students. This project reflects my passion for biology and my commitment to creating educational content that supports effective learning and fosters a greater understanding of the natural world.
